This reputable engineering turnkey company, design, manufactures materials handling products for the aviation, tank, FMCG industries and light manufacturing industries.

Through growth our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fabricator to join this highly motivated team that offers work life balance based in SE of Melbourne. This role will be on the tools with a view to progress to supervisor in the future.

To be considered for the position, you need to be able to demonstrate the following:

Proven experience in fabrication
Forklift licence
Structure steel fabrication experience
Experience working with overhead crane to handle heavy structures
TIG and MIG welding
Experience welding thin sheet metal, stainless steel and aluminium welding
Strong work ethic
Ability to be a team player and work independently
Basic computer skills
This is a great opportunity to build on your existing Fabrication experience in a role with a diverse range of responsibilities.
