The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2-3 years previous experience in a similar environment working with heavy fabrics.
The quality of your work and attention to detail is crucial to your success. You will be working in a team environment; therefore, you must be team orientated and must be able to follow clear instructions. You will be working alongside an experienced cutter and assembler who will also give you all the training required.
Required Skills:
·Measuring & cutting fabrics, including Canvas, Vinyl and Mesh.
·Assemble Annexes
·Maintaining pattern templates
·Heavy Lifting
·Able to use tape measure, hand and power tools safely and accurately
·Preparing product for manufacture
·Operating various types of cutting equipment
·Experience in a manufacturing environment and with manufacturing processes
·A high level of accuracy and high attention to detail
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·Able to follow work procedures
·Performing quality checks
·Clear and accurate communication skills
·Working within a team environment
·Knowledge of Safety, Continuous Improvement Practices and OHS principles
·Licence and own transport
·Current Police Check and WWCC
·Reliable, punctual and the ability to work unsupervised
·Have the right attitude and commitment and be enthusiastic to learn.
