Job Summary: Permanent Full Time Location: Brisbane - Inner Suburbs & CBD Categories: IT EM Infrastructure Architecture And Design About the role We’re looking for an Executive Manager Infrastructure Architect and Design to join the Infrastructure team based in Brisbane. The Infrastructure team delivers and drives key components of the Technology, Data and Lab’s (TDL) strategy to support Suncorp’s strategic vision.

Job Details: Key responsibilities include;

Define and maintain Domain Architecture and Strategy for Infrastructure across Cloud, Data Centres, Hosting, Storage, Storage, Database, Networks (WAN & LAN), End User Compute, Corporate and Contact Centre Telephony
Responsible for the facilitation of Infrastructure Architecture governance forums and visibly represent Infrastructure at Enterprise Architecture forums
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment
Lead a team of Infrastructure Architects and provide consultancy to projects
Work with the EGM Infrastructure to support the long-term strategic direction and performance by managing key Infrastructure and TDL wide strategic initiatives.
Make recommendations to the EGM Infrastructure on the development of strategy and execution
Responsible for the oversight of all strategic Infrastructure projects
Work with finance to provide oversight of the Infrastructure operational budget continuously exploring options to optimise the cost base
Ensure effective engagement strategies are in place to empower and enable a high-performance team, rotation, retention of talent and delivery in line with our key objectives
Provide clarity around strategic direction, key deliverables and expectations including performance, behaviours and timelines in line with our risk appetite
Lead and contribute to the divisional and team culture to ensure appropriate communication, awareness of overall business strategy and contribution levels of all employees
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, capabilities & experience;

At least 10 years IT and IT Infrastructure Architecture experience
Experience in IT Solution Design and Project Delivery
Experience in managing IT architecture in large scale organisations
TOGAF qualification is highly regarded
Contextual understanding of technology services and financial services
Advanced understanding of portfolio methodologies and governance principles
Broad and proven practical experience in achieving strategic outcomes
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Strong risk and financial management skills
