Electric Vehicles P/L (EVS) are the sole provider of electrically assisted bicycles to The Australian Postal Corporation. There are approximately 2000 Electric Mail Bikes (EMB's) currently in service beginning with the initial delivery from July to November 2011. We also service their Post Buggies and Trolleys. About the role

The successful applicant will work closely with the EVS Regional Manager and the Australia Post Delivery Centre Manager in managing a service/repair schedule. Ad-hoc repairs (non scheduled service/repairs) provide an essential service in order to maintain a fully functioning fleet. The bikes will each have 4 scheduled services per annum. Three minor and one major service. In addition there will be AD-HOC call outs for both minor and potentially some major repairs. Contractors will be required to attend to these repairs as fast as possible. We would expect many repairs to be completed within 24 hours.

Skills and experience

We seek interested parties with a bicycle, auto electrical or mechanical background. The contractor will need to be mobile with suitable transport, preferably a van or utility, tools, insurance and strong communication skills.
