Job Summary: Your new company This long day care centre attached to an independent school is currently in need of an Early Childhood Teacher for their highly rated service in Lane Cove. The centre caters for children between 0-6 years old and boasts 5 large rooms, with a fantastic outdoor space. The centre is warm, welcoming and community focused. It aims to foster self-esteem, curiosity and the motivation to become a lifelong learner. The centre is purpose built and runs an Indoor/Outdoor programme based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which recognises uniqueness of the individual and the value of diversity. The centre has state of the art outdoor facilities and received Exceeding Rating in all 7 quality areas.
Job Details:Your new role
As ECT in the 0 - 2 room you will be leading a room of 3 other educators and 10 children. All educators are expected to have input with the programming and planning of the room, so part of your role will be ensuring all educators are supported and heard. You will also work closely with the experienced Director and 2IC, using your experience and interpersonal skills to mentor and support educators across the centre.
