Job Details:ECT - room leader pre-school room
Responsible for the implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups.
•Ensure all observations and evaluations are up-to-date on all children by all educators
• Responsible for the employment and ongoing management of employment and termination of educators
• Responsible for the supervision of students on placement
• Responsible for ensuring a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children by ensuring that all educators adhere to all Work Place Health and Safety policies and procedures within the centre
• Responsible for ensuring that all records are maintained accurately for each child in their care.
• Develop, implement and evaluate daily care routines.
• Ensure that the centre or service’s policies and procedures are up-date and reflect current theory research and practise.
• Liaise appropriately with families.
• Work in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in the direction of all staff and rostering
• Follow AECA Code of Ethics
• Attend training as required to further professional skills and knowledge
