Job Summary: - Key leadership role - Commercial focus - Eastern suburbs Our client is a leading services business in Australasia with a significant operational footprint across the region. The business provides operations, maintenance, facilities and asset management solutions, as well as telecommunications and ICT solutions to industrial and commercial clients and government agencies across the water, energy, communications, infrastructure and environmental sectors. Currently embarking on an exciting period, they are looking for a top-tier finance leader to join the business in Melbourne.

Job Details:

Reporting to the CFO, you will be an integral member of the management team responsible for providing leadership and direction to support financial and profitable decision-making. In partnership with the EGM and broader management team, you will develop and drive financial strategies and play a key role in identifying risks and growth opportunities. You will play a lead role in project reporting and support, ensuring appropriate financial resources, accurate Project Financial Management (PFM) reporting and clearly defined project KPIs. Through the provision of timely accurate and insightful information, you and your team will continue to support commercial decision making. You will ensure robust systems and controls and will develop a team which provides valuable support to the business.

  

CA/CPA qualified, you will be an exceptional leader with demonstrated success leading and developing a high performance culture within complex service environments. You will be commercial and strategic, but will also enjoy being ‘hands on’ and across the detail. You will be a genuine business partner who is able to build strong relationships across the business. Technically astute, you will have demonstrated success improving project and performance reporting through efficient systems and reporting tools. Prior experience within infrastructure services will be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
