Your new role
Working as part of a supportive team in a workshop-based environment you will be responsible for:
Servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles/trucks.
Test drive and operate trucks
Carry out technical inspections and preventative/corrective maintenance activities
Liaise and work with contractors and suppliers on-site

Skills and experience

To be successful for this position you will be qualified with the following skills and experience:
A Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical - Heavy Vehicle
Experience working with heavy (diesel) vehicles or heavy plant equipment
Waste industry experience is highly regarded
HR licence – preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude
Respect for safe work practices
Ability to work in a team environment

Salary: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year

Experience:
Diesel Mechanic: 3 years (Preferred)
diesel technician: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence:
MR Licence (Preferred)

Work Eligibility:
The candidate can work permanently with no restriction on hours (Required)
