Job Summary: Your new company This tier 2 family owned builder have been established for over 50 years in the industry and have been responsible for delivering some of Sydney's largest construction projects. They have a nationwide portfolio of projects and they have an outstanding reputation for the quality of their work. They are currently delivering some of the largest residential/commercial construction projects in Sydney.

Job Details: Your new role
Plan and control the delivery of the project design to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and project objectives Manage the design approval process in accordance with project requirements and program Prepare budgets and schedules of design delivery Client coordination and liaison Manage Design Coordinator and mentor their experience Report to Project manager to ensure optimal success between design and construction

What you'll need to succeed

Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline - (E.G: Building, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying) Design management experience on complex building projects $60 m with a main contractor Strong understanding of Building Codes, Australian standards and Local Authority regulations Understanding of design frameworks and systems Proven ability to communicate effectively across all stakeholders Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
