Job Details:
As our new Sales and Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for marketing and enhancing our brand awareness as well as providing customer service and administrative support to the Sales team. On top of this you will enjoy building positive relationships with our customers through regular communication to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
The Potential: To be successful in this role you will ideally possess foundational experience in a marketing and/or customer service role. You must be able to adapt to our company culture and follow procedures. As this is a newly created role, you will need to have a great work ethic and be organised whilst able to work autonomously. We are looking for someone with a desire to make a difference and succeed, someone that is creative and has the ability to think outside the box in a fast paced, energetic environment. A natural ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with both our team and customers is crucial. Qualifications in marketing or communications and a background in retail in the printing industry is an advantage but not essential.
This role is suited to a customer focused individual with excellent presentation, written and communication skills who enjoys collaborating with a team and is keen to join a company in which they can grow.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer Service:
• Answering incoming phone calls
• Sales enquiries
• Supplying job status reports to customers
• Responding to email leads
• Prospecting
• Preparing sales promotional letters / offers
• Raising job tickets
• Emailing and following up quotations
Marketing:
• Manage and maximise company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc)
• Develop and maintain our website and online presence
• Promote new products and services
• Monitor and Coordinate marketing collateral
Key Competencies & Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both over the phone and in person
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Exceptional skills in building relationships with customers and evaluating opportunities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive with positive attitude and professional work ethic
• Adaptable, able to work to deadlines and demonstrate initiative
• Strong computer literacy
