Job Summary: Sunshine Coast QLD $54,000 - $55,000 a year Surf Club Restaurant Pty Ltd Salary: 55K to 59K plus superannuation Surf Club Restaurant Pty Ltd are looking for an experienced Cook for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Noosa.

Job Details: The cook will be responsible for the following duties:

Receive, check and put away the daily deliveries.
Ensure correct rotation of stock.
Check fridge and freezer temperatures, ignite cook tops, deep fryers and ovens as required.
Commence preparation of the days food requirements.
Examine food to ensure quality during cooking process.
Make sauces required as per exact requirements of relevant recipe.
Season foods that require seasoning during, before and after cooking.
On commencement of service move to the front line on sous chef instructions taking up your post for that shift.
Check that plated up food is presented correctly, is portioned appropriately and cooked to perfection.
Listen to senior chefs, ask questions and follow their examples.
Listen and communicate for effective and fast service.
Towards end of shift sparkle clean work spaces, floors and walls and restock and tidy fridges.
Keep an eye on apprentices and help out when appropriate / engaging in training apprentices when required.
At end of shift ensure that you have left your work space as you found it ie clean and tidy and ready for next shift. Sign off.
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualification and work experience

At least a Cert. IV in commercial cookery and 03 years of relevant work experience
