Through working in partnership with families, we provide the highest standards of care and are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cook or Chef to join our team in our service at Busy Bees at Follyfoot Farm.

The Opportunity

This exciting opportunity to join our well established service at Busy Bees at Follyfoot Farm is one not to be missed.

Busy Bees Australia are seeking an experienced and professional Cook. As a Cook/Chef, you will be passionate about preparing fresh and wholesome meals for children.

You will naturally maintain a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements. You will be reliable, positive and well organised. You will enjoy working with families and children.

The hours are between 7am and 1pm Monday through Friday so if you want to remain in hospitality but no longer want to work unsocial hours - this is the role for you.

We will also consider a job share for the right candidate.

Your experience

Experience and passion for cooking a wide variety of nutritious foods suitable for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old;
Experience in development of a rotating menu, including catering for allergies and intolerances;
Certificate in Commercial Cookery (desirable but not essential)
Food Handling Safety Certificate;
National Police Clearance Certificate or ability to obtain
Current Working with Children Card or ability to obtain
Experience working in a Childcare kitchen is an advantage.
