The Position
We are looking for someone to join our Darwin Office in a Claims Assistant role. This role is responsible for providing administrative support for internal stakeholders to ensure performance targets are met.
Reporting to the Team Leader other responsibilities include the following:
Action and resolve queries for internal stakeholders within agreed timeframes
Monitor and action emails
Assisting the team in ensuring injured workers are paid correctly, including entering timesheets in the system
Keying lump sum and weekly benefit payments for injured workers and employers
Maintain filing and data integrity standards within internal systems
Ensure that all payments are processed promptly and accurately, and that all appropriate procedures have been compiled with.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have previous administration experience with strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build relationships with people at all levels and work as part of a team. Experience in Claims Management/Workers Compensation is desirable.
