Through growth of the business a Sydney based life insurer is looking for a customer focused claims assessor to join their high performing claims division and to be part of their continued success, growth and recognition across the industry.

The role:
Based in the Sydney CBD this is a wonderful opportunity for you to join an experienced claim division that has embedded a fantastic, collaborative culture and claims philosophy.
Reporting to the Claims Team Manager you would be responsible for the end-to-end management of a small portfolio of new and exciting life insurance income protection and lump sum claims.
You will be responsible for rehabilitation strategies, investigations, planning and establishing trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders while leaving the customer with a positive experience.

To be successful in your new role:
Life insurance claims management experience in etail life insueance claims (will consider opurtstanding group claims assessors).
Exceptional customer service
An understanding of the Life Insurance Act that applies to claims assessment
Demonstrates a basic knowledge of medical terms / concepts.
