Job Summary: The Position Strategic Healthcare Executive Experienced in the provision of rural and remote healthcare Focus on contemporary models of care, integrated service delivery and sustainable workforce

Job Details: The Flinders and Upper North Governing Board are now seeking a Chief Executive Officer to be responsible for ensuring the provision of best practice healthcare that is high quality, cost effective and responsive to community need. The FUNLHN has two large casemix sites, Whyalla Hospital and Health Services and Port Augusta Hospital and Health Services, a number of smaller, grant funded sites and a range of communitybased facilities. With a budget of $130 Million and 630 FTE staff you will work within the funding envelop to promote the integration of services, develop a population and primary health care approach and work towards co-ordination of services across the continuum of care.

To be a strong candidate for this role you will be:

Recognised as a contemporary, experienced and accomplished leader with a commitment to rural and remote healthcare provision
Proven in successfully managing a complex organisation, leading to improvement in patient care and organisational performance outcomes
Experienced in growing a positive, respectful organisational culture focused on the patient and the community
Practiced in leading sustainable change and championing co-design approaches
Proven in successfully managing a complex set of relationships.
The Organisation

The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network (FUNLHN) has the responsibility of providing public Hospital and health services to a population of around 45,000. The region extends north from the Spencer Gulf to the Northern Territory and includes the communities of Hawker, Leigh Creek, Port Augusta, Roxby Downs, Quorn and Whyalla. The FUNLHN is committed to working with community, patients and partner organisations, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, to improving the health and wellbeing of all people in the region by providing high quality health services.
