Job Summary: Job Description CATTLE WORKER LEVEL 1 Cattle property located in the far north of South Australia running 5000 head of mixed Poll Hereford and Hereford/Angus/Santa Gertrudis cattle. Days can be long, hot and dusty in Summer. (November – Feb) We are a family owned and operated property seeking competent and trustworthy individuals capable of performing tasks associated with a large pastoral enterprise. Indicative of the tasks which an employee may expect are the following: ·routine livestock mustering and yarding of livestock – motorbike; ·routine animal husbandry, this includes feeding and watering; ·routine fence and yard repairs; ·routine fence and yard building ·aerial stock sighting – if required; ·assist a trades person; ·basic non-trades daily maintenance of equipment used by the employee; ·basic non-trades maintenance of property plant prior to operation; ·assist in sorting and branding yarded stock; ·boundary riding, (if required); ·drive, maintain and operate farm vehicles and machinery with care; ·irrigation (pipeline) work; ·use of chemicals (if required); and ·partake in all aspects of stockcamp duties.

Job Details: GENERAL INFORMATION
Successful applicant must be trust worthy and able to work independently and be capable of performing tasks efficiently.
You must have excellent communication skills and a high level of English.
