Job Summary: Canberra ACT Casual $25.00 - $29.99 an hour

Job Details: We are seeking a reliable, experienced and self-motivated cleaner/room attendant to work at a defence site in Albury Wodonga.

You will be responsible for undertaking the cleaning of approximately 50 rooms over 3 days and day-to-day upkeep of room cleanliness, bed making, and ensuring the cleanliness of the property which provides accommodation similar to a 3-star hotel.


About You:
You will have hotel housekeeping experience, attention to detail and ability to work quickly and within short time frames. Your understanding of chemical handling and proper housekeeping techniques will ensure that you and your colleagues maintain a workplace safety focus.

You will have:

Suitability for Defence Security Clearance (only Australian citizens will be considered)
Good communication and time-management skills
Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar
High attention to detail with 5 star work standards
Knowledge of safe work practices
Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment
Police Check or willing to obtain one
