Job Summary: The Company This highly reputable and successful womenswear retailer are part of a large group of brands. They are a leading destination for women that are 35+ with over 200 stores across Australia and New Zealand. This is a great opportunity to advance your career and be part of a successful retailer. The Role Reporting directly to the GM you will manage a team of 4; two senior buyers and two buying assistants . This is a product development buying role across all categories in womenswear. Managing a turnover of over 200M and travelling 3-4 times a year, you will set the strategy for the ranges. We are seeking a strong leader that has product development buying experience in womenswear that is able to set and interpret trends for their customer across all categories.

Job Details:

Key responsibilities include

• Support and build seasonal concept brief


• Building ranges, create seasonal line plans, owning size of collection, pricing, margin and commercial requirements 


• Product development and overseas travel four times a year


• Identify short term and long term trends


• Managing and meeting sales budgets and KPI's

To be successful for this role we require the following skills and experience:

• Previous management experience in buying, merchandising and product development


• Have strong buying experience in womenswear 


• Commercial eye and understanding of customer needs 


• Highly driven and motivated


• Engaging people leader and collaborative working style
