Job Details:
We seek a seasoned Sales / Business Development professional with strong communication and presentation skills, to identify customer targets, develop relationships and nurture them through to client on-boarding.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established company and take ownership of the sales / business development function.
Your role will be to establish the appropriate sales processes and ensure the future growth of the business through executing the business strategy.
This position involves targeting suitable clients from facility management companies to building owners and those companies responsible for managing their own compliance testing.
The role will focus on new business development and the processes and supporting documentation to drive this aspect of our organisation.
The role requires someone who is self-motivated and ambitious. Although the Company is based in Seaford, it is expected that the successful person will be out meeting customers and spending a significant amount of time out of the office.
An immediate start is available.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business development initiatives of Asset Support Group
- Target potential customers across the facility management sector and those who have a responsibility for the testing of their sites
- Maintain awareness across these sectors of relevant legislative requirements
- Defining and contacting target businesses in specified regions and sectors
- Booking and conducting meetings with potential customers
- Develop interest via cold calling and face-to-face meetings
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Experience working in facility management or as an electrician in retail or commercial industries
- A technical understanding of essential safety measures
- A successful track record in a technical sales environment, particularly in a B2B role
- A strong ‘hunter’ style of sales development
- The ability to work autonomously
- A self-starting, motivated and ambitious attitude
- The ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with your clients
- Fantastic people and communication skills
