Job Summary: $65,000 a year Business Development Manager – Market Data / Insights JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager – Market Data / Insights LOCATION: Melbourne CBD (Collins Street) PACKAGE: $65k Base + Super OTE $100k (uncapped with multiple bonuses)

ROLE INFORMATION

This role is 100% focused on driving new business opportunities – You’ll be supported by SDR reps and will need to support the funnel with your own prospecting activities
A typical day will involve 10-20 calls, webinars, demos, follow ups and client engagements
Clients include Banks, Retailers, Telcos, Agri and Pharmaceutical *You can sell to any sector*
You’ll be selling to ‘C’ level executive who want to make better decisions.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1-2 Years in a business to business sales environment
A background in recruitment, solar, IT or Business services would be of interest
You’ll need to be a proactive salesperson who is not afraid to pick up the phone.
Candidates will need to have a solution sales lead approach (solution selling, challenger, spin etc)
Polished, professional salespeople with a business lead approach will do well.
Ambition is important and they want candidates who are keen to improve themselves as salespeople.
