We are currently recruiting for a Boilermaker to join our maintenance team based at our Kunwarara Operation, located approximately 40 minutes North of Rockhampton, QLD.
Reporting to the site Maintenance Supervisor, you will be involved with repairs, planned maintenance activities, shutdown assistance, capital projects, major and minor breakdowns.
Key accountabilities:
Performing all boilermaking activities in accordance with site safety policies and practices, including isolation procedure.
Safety as a first priority.
Ensuring a high standard of work at all times.
Repairing Mining and Manufacturing equipment.
Performing general machining tasks.
Welding.
Shutdown and breakdown tasks.
Assisting with maintaining work related consumables.
Requirements for the position:
You must possess:
a current driver's licence
a Boilermaker trade certificate
a current Forklift Licence would also be an advantage, but not essetial.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate and work with a variety of people at a range of organisational levels in addition to a commitment to Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements.
