Job Summary: Sydney NSW Part-time $34 - $37 an hour

Job Details: This newly created position has come about through a restructure of roles within this stable finance team. As part of this successful and valuable organisation, you will report to the Senior Accountant and assist with timely and accurate reporting. It is part-time for 5 days/week and 4-5 hrs/day.

Your position will include, however not be limited to, taking responsibility for monthly BAS and other annual returns to the ATO, month end accounting to trial balance, monthly business performance reporting and any revenue related reporting as necessary.

Along with the Assistant Accountant, who you will manage, you will take full control of the accounting process from accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and cash management, to forecasting and analysis.

You will have completed your accounting degree and it is essential that you have started your CPA/CA. You will have a number of years relevant experience in similar role and have the ability and confidence to mentor staff.

As you will be liaising with a number of stakeholders at various levels, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with a large ERP will also be highly regarded.

This is a part-time role and would suit someone who wants to work around school/daycare hours.
