Job Summary:
Our client is one of Townsville’s largest employers, offering a broad range of services across the region. They are looking to add an Assistant Ranger assist in short term assignment. This is a 3 month contract, commencing immediately.
Job Details:
The Position
Implement management plans within water catchment area as instructed.
Undertake general environmental management activities for the purpose of raw water quality preservation
Supervise and induct casual staff, contractors and volunteers as required.
Assist in general site operations as directed
Liais with regulatory officers in the collection of samples for data sets
Assist in the maintenance of recreation facilities
Monitoring and minor repairs of fences, roads and access ways
Removal of rubbish
Undertake biodiversity surveys.
