Our Client is looking for a career driven Assistant Accountant with a total of 2 -3 years commercial experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be supported by an ASX listed organisation that can offer genuine career progression.

The successful candidate will be offered a 6 month fixed term contract with a strong view of permanency.

The Role

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:

Assist with accounts payable & accounts receivable
Process payroll journals
Process prepayments & accruals
General ledger reconciliations
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with cash flow forecasting
Ad-hoc analysis and reporting
The Requirements

Studying towards CA/CPA
Minimum 1 -2 year’s experience working as a Graduate / Assistant Accountant
Complete tasks in a timely and effective manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good attention to detail
Intermediate Excel skills
Large ERP Systems exposure is essential
Previous experience working in a fast paced environment is highly regarded
