Our client, a successful Manufacturing company, who are currently looking for a hardworking and friendly Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. A well-respected company in their field, the company is looking for a professional and experienced individual to join their team. Based in a great Western Suburbs location, the role offers a competitive salary and a supportive team environment.

The Role

Working within the Finance team, you will report to the Finance Manager. Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Customer Invoicing
Bank reconciliations
General ledger reconciliations
Banking
Month end reporting
Stocktake reporting
Assisting with finance related queries with stakeholders
Back-up to Accounts Payable function
Accruals and Pre-Payments
Other ad hoc duties
Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role. A working knowledge with a large ERP is desired. You will be able to handle multiple responsibilities and will complete all tasks with accuracy. You will be expected to interact with both internal and external customers, so strong communication and rapport building skills are essential.
