Ruswin is a leading Regional Provider of Security Systems and Locksmith services. Our company has been employing and training apprentices for over 20 years.
The apprenticeship is for 4 years and training is provided by "on the job" as well as TAFE block training in Brisbane.
Job Details:
Position Summary:
Maintain high standard of workmanship, trade practice and safety in the workshop and mobile service areas
Commitment to achieving competency in apprenticeship training plan modules within the allocated time frames
Comply with company procedures and policies
Maintain weekly record of training as per training provider requirements
Punctuality
Key Responsibilities:
Retail and mobile services as follows:-
Perform Retail functions as directed by the Supervisor
To undertake training as directed by the Supervisor
To carry out sales and attend to customers in the shop
Cuts new or duplicate keys
Gain entry by picking or other bypass techniques
Opens safe locks by drilling
Keeps records of company locks and keys
Carrying out all work as instructed in accordance with company procedures and sound trade practice
To ensure that all work is supported by the required documentation as laid down in the procedure Manual
Maintaining a stock of keys, locks and parts
Regular cleaning of the shop, workshop and staff areas of the premises
Competencies and Experience Required:
Ability to read and interpret documents, including but not limited to, safety instruction, work instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to calculate figures, including but not limited to, additions, subtractions, percentages
Competent in using hand tools
Customer service
Drivers License – must either hold a drivers licence or be in the process of obtaining
Qualifications required:
Grade 12 Certificate or graduating Grade 12 in current year
