With state of the art facilities, the Lyell McEwin Hospital is fast becoming a major tertiary facility. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Allied Health Facilitator to join an innovative and supportive health environment on a flexible part time basis. In this integral role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Divisional Allied Health portfolio functions are undertaken in a timely and accurate manner. The core focus of your role will include providing support to the Senior Discipline Managers and the Allied Health Director for matters relating to employment including recruitment, leave and time sheet management, contracting and casual pools. In addition, you may provide professional support and supervision to other administrative staff within the division.


Past history will reflect experience in data management and using computerised information systems, with proven competence in Microsoft or equivalent programs together with the ability to identify, analyse and solve problems. A strong relationship builder with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff from various backgrounds, you will have experience working effectively within a team setting and in the supervision of clerical staff and formulation of complex rostering. With excellent attention to detail and organisation skills to meet set deadlines, you will have the ability to accept and facilitate change in the workplace. Able to work autonomously with minimal direction and supervision, you will bring experience working in areas where confidentiality must be applied and maintained.
