Job Summary: Exclusive to Jenner Recruitment our client is looking for an Advice Manager/Financial Planning Manager to oversee and grow the Financial Planning division. Our Client A nationally profiled organisation, our client is currently seeking a Brisbane based Advice Manager to oversee systems and lead change within their financial planning teams. The Role

We are seeking a leader whose primary focus is to implement change and oversee the processes and systems.  

Working with a team of financial specialists this is a great opportunity for a driven, relationship focussed individual who likes flexibility within their role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Coach, train and mentor a team of highly skilled Financial Planners


• Recruit and transition Financial Planners with the growth and expansion of the business


• Responsible for the P&L and the new strategic direction of the Queensland division


• Managing projects and tasks to ensure effective delivery within set deadlines


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all product and legislation changes


• Organise and present PD Days etc


• Other duties as required.

About You

With strong experience in Financial Planning, you will have the drive and motivation to lead and build a solid business relationships, both internally and externally.

You will be working in a supportive and professional environment and will need to possess the following skills:

• Relevant tertiary qualification within the Financial Planning field


• CFP is preferred or Tertiary qualification is a must


• At least 5-7 years experience working within a similar field within the Financial Planning industry


• Strong influencing and negotiation skills


• Ability to drive and develop internal and external relationships


• Change management capability - able to anticipate the impact change will have on a team and be able to support the team through.


• Excellent communication and presentation
