Job Summary: Sydney NSW Temporary $27 - $34 an hour

Job Details: I am currently recruiting for a brand new role as an accounts officer in Sydney's CBD nect to major staition. The company is going through substantial growth and are looking for somebody to help with their increasing volumes and demands. This is working in an exciting industry for a brand which is well respected all around the world for their service and reputation

I am looking for energetic, pro-active accounting experienced candidates to fill this role for a 6-12 month period. If you are on a working holiday visa and have accounting experience overseas, this could be the ideal role for you!

Duties in these roles include:
Help manage the accounts payable processing system
Monthly reporting as required
Record manual payments for manual cheque payments which includes Petty Cash etc into the accounting system
Ensure creditor account enquiries (both internal and external) are answered in a timely and professional manner
Process EFT, B-Pay, Staff expense reimbursement and cheque payments and ensure all submissions have been authorised by the appropriate managers.
BAS and FBT processing
Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc or project tasks as required
Calling customers with debt to recover payments
Resolve customer queries on accounts to improve cash flow
Reconciling Accounts
Allocating Payments
Billings
General Ledger Reconciliation
Month end close
The candidate:

We are looking for bright, switched on and ambitious individuals who have the passion to develop their skills and develop their career whilst living within Australia. You will have a background as an accounts officer, Accountant, Assistant Accountant or credit officer and be a confident communicator that can absorb information and take on tasks confidently and quickly.

To be considered for this opportunity we will consider the following:

Background/ experience:
1-2 year + Accounts experience in Aus or overseas
The ability to listen and learn
A positive, helpful attitude
A willingness to do the most basic of duties if required
Can commit to contracts up to 6 months
Be immediately available or available within a couple of days
The positions is a temporary role paying $27-$34p/h + Super, depending on your experience. If you believe you have the right attitude and desire to learn we are keen to hear from you.
