My name is Joseph Gorvett (Joe) and I’m a classically trained opera singer/ creative arts administrator originally from the U.K. I’ve recently relocated to Sydney after living and working hard, with constant reflection from the challenges that come hand in had with living in and in New York City after three years. Living in such a dynamic hectic city which constantly throws obstacles at you everyday forces resilience, but makes up with regular spontaneous nights out partying nonchalantly with all kind of celebrities and ending up in the most bizarre situations which consequently desensitises you to any scenario life throws at you after. New York City is anything but conventional or mainstream, and I believe neither am I. I’m ready to add Sydney to the list of countries I learn, grow and thrive in through resilience and determination. I’m confident, yet humble, and passionate, yet driven. I have a positive outlook and mentality, and believe that there can be a lesson learned from every experience in life, you just need to have the courage to try! Why would someone ever turn down an opportunity to learn something new?!
