Dr Teston is one of the few female plastic surgeons in the Sydney area, providing a unique perspective and the ability to relate to the needs and cosmetic desires of her female patients. She takes the time to truly listen to her patients’ concerns, and works with them to determine the best surgical and/or non-surgical solutions to help them meet all of their aesthetic goals.
Dr Leana Teston is a fully qualified female Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgeon who has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr Teston studied Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBBS) at the University of New South Wales. She trained in General and Plastic surgery and has 2 fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Leana is currently a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a member of the International Society for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS). She is also currently a member of the NSW Hand Surgery Association. Dr Teston has an interest in plastic surgery of the breast, i.e. breast asymmetry and reductions, breast augmentations and reconstruction. She is also interested in body contouring, e.g. abdominoplasty (tummy tucks) and arm and thigh reductions. Her other frequently performed surgeries include facial cosmetic surgery, prominent ear correction, labiaplasty, hand surgery, and skin cancer removal and reconstruction.
